This game looks excellent, and I can't wait to try it out. It's designed so that each session plays like an episode of a giant robot anime, with a great setup/action/aftermath structure that feels so right for the genre. Character creation (as well as robot and monster creation) is pretty freeform and fast, with tons of room for creativity without tons of math.
I would have loved playing this with my friends in junior high and high school. I can't wait to grab a spiral bound notebook and draw up a few characters and monsters and robots. I'm gonna do that right now. Definitely check this one out.
